I am so sorry mother
I was consumed by my youth
Maybe I did not love you
Quite as much as you deserved
My life devoured my thoughts
Tomorrow was far away
I didn’t understand how much
I would miss not seeing you
I am so sorry mother
I was consumed by my youth
Maybe I did not love you
Quite as much as you deserved
My life devoured my thoughts
Tomorrow was far away
I didn’t understand how much
I would miss not seeing you

Life is a patchwork of moments — laughter, solitude, everyday joys, and quiet aches. Through scribbled stories, I explore travels both far and inward, from sunrise over unfamiliar streets to the comfort of home. This is life as I see it, captured in ink and memory. Stick around; let's wander together.
Almost Meaningful

I don’t think we ever truly appreciate life until we lose someone very close to us.

Aw. (I’m crying )
I bet she was a good mom and good moms know that you love them. And they want you to get out into your life and into the world and make your way. :-)
Beautiful tribute to your Mom, Jerry! :-) I have a feeling she is looking down on you and smiling!
Where did the time go?! I remember not so long ago being a part of the youngest generation in my family and now my siblings and I are the oldest generation in our family.
HUGS!!! :-)

Thank you my friend. True, we have our annual family reunion in June and many years back, I stopped playing the games and joined the ‘Old people’s table’. Now there are sons, daughters, nieces and nephews sitting with us as we watch great grandchildren play.
