When you hear me talk of revolution
And the changes that must take place
I mean, we need to find the solution
To put humanity back into the human race
We’re so quick to point our finger
When we see what’s happening in our land
We will let our anger boil and linger
While too afraid to extend our hand
We’ve let prejudice and violence
Through complacency become the norm’
But if we continue to stand alone in silence
Then we will surely perish in the storm
well said, I heartily agree :)

Thanks. It seems like a lot of people like to complain but are not willing to put in the effort to help fix the problem. I appreciate your words of encouragement.

i am most reluctant to complain unless I can help with a solution eg offer one and be prepared to act on it :)

It is so much easier to complain than to try to fix what is broken, and so much easier to hate than to understand those who see things differently. But that’s not the way to put the human back into humanity at all. Thanks for this poem, it’s what I think but haven’t articulated….
